                Meeting minutes for September 17th at Renasaunce Golf Club

  Meeting called to order at 11:30 a.m. by President Jerry Govaars

  Minutes of last meeting - Brian Carpenter - accepted as read

  Treasury report - Appr. $800.00 pending verification by new treasuerer

  Old Business - Frank Flaker will not be able to continue as Treasuerer - Brian Carpenter volenteered to take the position until the end of the year. Motion to replace Frank with Brian by Jerry Govaars, seconded by Anne Kramer, motion passed. Brian will be checking with the bank to make sure all is in order and find out about getting a fee free checking account. We currently pay $17.00 a month. We will also find out if we should keep our P.O. box in Tellavast. The box is paid up thru January so we will make a decision on that at a future meeting.

  Barry Rutter will stop at Bradenton Country Club to see if the January meeting will still be there with the superintendent's association and the vendors.

New Business - Roger Cox reports that the TESTA group will be meeting next month at the Golf Ventures facility in Lakeland on the 21st. They will have a study session on reel technology at 8:00 a.m., a meeting at 11;00 a.m., lunch, and then an EETC test session after lunch. Roger made a motion to change our meeting on the 15th to the 21st so we could participate in the program, seconded by Mike Hall, motion was passed. If you would like to take any other test in the program, please call Roger Cox and tell him which test you would like to take.
